The Ignite A hardtail MTB effortlessly turns singletracks into your own personal playground. As part of the Hydro Series, the frame is made of high quality 6061 triple-butted, hydroformed, double-pass flat welded aluminium that we shape and weld with care and sustainability. The tube walls are thinner in the center and become slightly thicker towards the ends. All these special techniques come together to create an incredibly balanced, lightweight yet stiff frame.
In addition, this MTB has a boosted rear axle and an updated race geometry. When combining all these features with many others carried over from Ridley's years of expertise, you get an Ignite A that delivers a very responsive, stable, confidently playful cycling experience.

Ridley Ignite A - SRAM NX 1x12sp

The Ignite SLX is the top model in our hardtail, cross country mountain bike range.This MTB features an extremely ingenious carbon lay-up which is key in achieving such amazing riding characteristics that you'll feel from the first pedal stroke. At the front end of the bike we use Toray Carbon with high tensile strength. At the rear, we opted for a different carbon lay-up to maximize vertical flex. The increased steering angle (trail) provides an extra stable riding feel. Our R&D also gave the seat stays an asymmetrical, oval shape to maximize stiffness. We don't let a single Watt go to waste!The result is an Ignite SLX MTB that's light, stiff and agile. Take those flowing singletracks and steep slopes faster than anyone else…for the win!
