Specialized Women’s Diverge E5 Comp review

Mar 2019 · Thérèse Coen

A very accessible all-road all-rounder, but can prove sluggish for pure road riding, and needs some wider tyres for true off-road riding

  • Versatile

  • Well engineered and very tough all-weather and all-road bike

Lows
  • Heavy

  • Slightly thin tyres for off-road use

Specialized Women's Diverge E5 Comp review

Oct 2018

The Specialized Women’s Diverge E5 Comp is a bike that will turn its hand to most types of riding and one that genuinely hits the do-it-all landmark - it's pretty much identical to the men’s bike too. As a jack of all trades, we liked this versatile gravel and adventure bike but it needs tougher tyres before you take it too far off the beaten track.

Specialized Women's Diverge E5 Comp gravel/adventure bike review

Sep 2018 · Aoife Glass

Capable aluminium gravel bike that doubles as a commuter. Buy if you want a good value do-it-all road bike that'll be as comfortable for a pot-hole riddled commute as an on-road/off-road weekend adventure ride

Highs
  • Comfortable, versatile, can take bigger tyres for an even smoother ride

Lows
  • Fewer mounts for attaching racks and mudguards than the carbon models which limits versatility
