The reach is longer than on most downhill bikes (which tend to sport shorter reach numbers than modern trail bikes) and the four-size range means even tall riders should get a reasonable fit, with the reach on my XL test bike measuring in at 480mm.. .

We’ve been riding the $2,999 MSRP (currently on sale through Canyon US for $2,799) Canyon Sender AL 6.0 since June. While aboard the bike, we’ve spent 2 weeks coaching mountain bike camps at Highland Bike Park, as well as sampled the infamous trails of Whistler. The Canyon Sender is one of the best downhill DH bikes on the market. We tested this carbon 27.5 DH bike for several months from Whistler to California.
