I wish it had mudguard mounts and it's certainly not cheap, but the Roubaix Expert is an exceptionally good bike. I’m starting to wish my other bikes had a Future Shock
Future Shock works beautifully and ride quality is perfectly balanced front to rear
Big spec
Lovely paint job
There’s no ignoring the price
Cable routing at the bar could be neater
The Future Shock adjuster is surprisingly easy to break (if you’re an idiot like me)
2021 model is arguably less good value

The latest Roubaix has more versatility with a promise of better performance. Does it deliver?
Ride performance
Frame quality
Future shock does a good job of smoothing out the road
Heavy wheels suck away potential speed

Announced just in time for its namesake race, the new Roubaix retains and improves on a number of the platform’s […]

Game-changing Future Shock adds the wow factor to an already excellent bike
Future Shock works beautifully
Great Ultegra brakes
Fast and reasonably light climbing and descending
High front end
Complicated cockpit setup
Reduced front end feel
