With one exception, this bike has front to back and top to bottom, fork and frame touring geometry, the one exception being its steeper seat tube angl
This bike is a sleeper which can easily be modified into being much more capable. It comes standard with a 1x8 gear train but also includes a cable guide under the bottom bracket shell for mounting a front derailleur for a 2x or 3x crankset and its rear hub could work with a 7/8/9/10/ (MTB) 11-speed cassette.
At its price point it is hard to find anything truly bad about this bike and its 4130 chromoly fork and frame. The only minor complaint has been its having limited handlebar adjustment because its stem is integral with (part of) its handlebar, but then a variety of other stems and handlebars are available too.
