Summary
The Polygon Collosus is a mixed bag in the enduro category, praised for its modern geometry, efficient pedaling, and value for money, but criticized for its weight and some setup challenges. Its suspension performance is noted for being active and grippy, though some find it too lively in rough sections. The bike is compared to models like the Specialized Enduro and Cannondale Jekyll, highlighting its position in the competitive enduro market.
Modern enduro geometry
Efficient to pedal up hill
Good value for money
Active suspension delivers masses of grip
Impressive parts spec for the price
Heavy
Not intuitive out-of-the-box
Suspension was too lively in rough sections
Limited seatpost insertion
High weight affects maneuverability
It dived in and out of a snaking section of steep, supported corners in a solid, predictable manner and the dimensions felt good.
Unlike its more expensive competitors however, Polygon skips many of the fancier features to help lower the price point.
Polygon once again delivered an impressive bike for the money.
All of that adds up to a not-insignificant 39.25 pounds (17.8 kg) – Collosus seems like a very fitting name given those numbers.Pinkbike
