Summary
The Orbea Wild is a highly capable enduro bike, praised for its versatile performance, intuitive handling, and confidence-inspiring geometry. It features 170mm of travel, a focus on enduro riding, and comes with high-quality components like Fox Factory dampers and DH-casing tyres. While it excels in gravity riding and climbing, some reviews note its weight and handling in tight corners as areas for improvement.
Versatile performance
Intuitive handling
Confidence-inspiring geometry

Versatile, adaptable to different terrains and riding styles
Excellent climbing traction and balance
Great power transfer
Bosch Gen 5 motor is excellent
Fox suspension performed impressively without hiccups
Easy to ride from the first ride, precise and composed

Customizable colors (60 options) via MyO program
Expensive: 17,300 CAD / 13,000 USD for M-LTD model
600Wh battery is relatively small
Rear shock placement makes air pressure adjustment difficult with some pumps
Through-the-headset cable routing makes maintenance harder
Fox Factory Transfer dropper post developed play and inconsistent performance
T-type chain wore out prematurely (broke after ~1100 km)
Fox fender detached due to bleeder valve splitting
Initial cable routing left wires vulnerable to damage (fixed by rerouting)

Boasting more suspension travel than previous versions, the Orbea Wild H10 has proven to be an absolute bruiser of a machine. With its smooth almost weldless alloy frame, bosch drive system, and spot-on build kit, it dispatches the rowdiest of descents with ease while being an equally as accomplished climber. Though its long wheelbase and big wheels make it a handful in the corners, it's not as light as Orbea may lead you to believe; it’s not without a few minor setbacks.

In our 2025 eMTB comparison test, we pitted the Orbea Wild against the hottest bikes of the season. Was it able to secure the title of best e-mountain bike of 2025?
Extremely versatile
Highly intuitive handling
Inspires tons of confidence
High level of customisation via Orbea’s MyO configurator
Permanently integrated battery can’t be removed

The extra 10 millimeters of rear travel is nice to have for those not-quite-perfect line choices, and it still has that punching bag-like quality I enjoyed with the last one - it does a great job of absorbing hits without getting rattled.
Calm and composed handling
Very quiet while descending
Excellent power delivery while climbing
Still has thru-headset cable routing
Even shorter cranks would be nice to see
Motor cover is a mud magnet.

The Wild combines impressive power and range with terrific handling in a stylish package. Orbea is back with the latest incarnation of their long-travel 29er eMTB, the Wild. This is version four, and it shows a number of improvements and refinements over the previous version. Let’s cover the basics before we jump into the improvements
Bosch Performance Line CX motor is one of the best-reviewed motors being spec’d in eMTBs
Comes standard with a 750Wh Bosch PowerTube battery
With 160mm of travel in the front and rear, the Wild is smooth over rough terrain and can soak up big hits easily
4-piston Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors offer precise and powerful control
Internal routing of cables and hoses makes for a very clean appearance
The controller is small enough to be easy to reach and connects via Bluetooth, so no additional wires
Researching all the component choices when ordering could be a weekend-long project
