Orbea Wild H10 e-MTB review

Jun 2025

Boasting more suspension travel than previous versions, the Orbea Wild H10 has proven to be an absolute bruiser of a machine. With its smooth almost weldless alloy frame, bosch drive system, and spot-on build kit, it dispatches the rowdiest of descents with ease while being an equally as accomplished climber. Though its long wheelbase and big wheels make it a handful in the corners, it's not as light as Orbea may lead you to believe; it’s not without a few minor setbacks.

Review: Orbea's 2025 Wild eMTB Gets a Quiet Update

Feb 2025 · Mike Kazimer

The extra 10 millimeters of rear travel is nice to have for those not-quite-perfect line choices, and it still has that punching bag-like quality I enjoyed with the last one - it does a great job of absorbing hits without getting rattled.

Highs
  • Calm and composed handling

  • Very quiet while descending

  • Excellent power delivery while climbing

Lows
  • Still has thru-headset cable routing

  • Even shorter cranks would be nice to see

  • Motor cover is a mud magnet.

Jun 2024 · Justin Taylor

The Wild combines impressive power and range with terrific handling in a stylish package. Orbea is back with the latest incarnation of their long-travel 29er eMTB, the Wild. This is version four, and it shows a number of improvements and refinements over the previous version. Let’s cover the basics before we jump into the improvements

Highs
  • Bosch Performance Line CX motor is one of the best-reviewed motors being spec’d in eMTBs

  • Comes standard with a 750Wh Bosch PowerTube battery

  • With 160mm of travel in the front and rear, the Wild is smooth over rough terrain and can soak up big hits easily

  • 4-piston Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors offer precise and powerful control

  • Internal routing of cables and hoses makes for a very clean appearance

  • The controller is small enough to be easy to reach and connects via Bluetooth, so no additional wires
