Summary
The Norco Search gravel bike family is praised for its versatility and adventure-ready builds, with models featuring unique geometry and suspension options like the SR Suntour GVX fork. It excels in stability and comfort over rough surfaces, though some models may lack agility and comfort on tighter trails. The bike's comprehensive kit and attachment points make it ideal for bikepacking and commuting.
Versatile and adventure-ready builds
Stable and comfortable over rough surfaces
Comprehensive kit with numerous attachment points for bikepacking
Unique geometry accommodating suspension forks
Lacks agility in tight and winding trails
Mediocre comfort with little frame flex
Some models have a chainring too big for long climbs
Norco has quietly introduced some new gravel options
This Norco proves why you should consider an adventure-cum-gravel bike for the daily ride.
The Norco Search XR C2 is just the bike for the job. It encourages you to stray from the most worn lines, to try out the straight line instead and just fly over all obstacles in your path.

Not wowed by the looks, but a lovely and plush steel and wide-tyred all-rounder
Well kitted out for all sorts of adventures, good gears and an excellent ride over poor surfaces both on and off-road
Slightly lower top gear than a road bike
Mechanical rather than hydraulic disc
