Summary
The Norco Revolver is a versatile cross-country bike praised for its balanced and confident handling across varied terrain. It excels in climbing with good traction and efficiency, while its suspension provides a smooth, stable ride that inspires confidence on descents. The bike is designed to be both race-ready and capable on rougher trails, making it a strong choice for riders seeking performance without the weight of a trail bike.

The Revolver FS120 is as conservative as you’d expect on the descents.
The bike is full-on fun to descend.
In the right hands, the FS 120 that I spent time on could be an absolute weapon.Pinkbike

Review: Norco Revolver FS 120 is a fast cross country race bike that is comfortable taking on the descents

This newly redesigned 100mm XC bike from Norco has the heart of a trail bike.
Great race-ready suspension
Stable at all speeds
XC bike that isn’t afraid to party
Aluminum DT Swiss wheels are a little heavy
32t chainring is small for XC racing

The name is the same but Norco's full-on cross-country bike is new from tip to tail.

Last time I rode a short-travel full-suspension 29er was in 2006. It was a Trek from the early days of figuring out how to make the big wheels not only race fast but ride fun. The (now) dated geometry found in the high bottom bracket height, head/seat tube angles and top tube length just didn’t do the trick for me back then.

The Norco Revolver 9.3 FS is an XC race bike that begs riders to explore broader horizons, served up at a screaming deal.

On the other hand, if you’ve been conscious and paying attention for the past little while, you’d have been witness to an amazing transformation from Norco that has led to them producing one of the most cohesive and polished ranges on the market today, including this stunning cross-country machine you see here. What is it, …
Perfectly finished frame.
Stiff construction.
Exceptional climber.
Great drivetrain and brakes.
Tyres aren't up to scratch.
Fork flex in some situations.
