Summary

The Norco Sight is celebrated as a near-perfect trail bike, offering a comfortable and confident ride right out of the gate. It excels on steep descents and varying terrain, thanks to its plush suspension and precise handling. While it's praised for its unisex and women’s specific packages, some note the women’s model's limitations in wheel size and frame sizes.

Pros
  • Close to perfect as a trail bike

  • Comfortable and confident ride right away

  • Impressive bike with unisex or women’s specific packages

  • Sprightly on steeper pitches

  • Plush and capable on steeper descents

  • Handles varying terrain at speed with precision

Cons
  • Wide 800-millimeter Race Face Turbine bar on smaller sizes

  • Women’s model limited to 27.5-inch wheels and sizes XS through Medium

Key Quotes
Do you believe in love at first sight? Surely this must be the genesis of the model name for this bike because the Norco Sight C2 is about as close to perfect as a trail bike can get.

Sometimes we feel bad for making the Norco Sight sit still for the camera all the time, so, we try to make up for it by giving it gifts. Nice things like new suspension, drivetrains, wheels, tyres etc. Over time it’s become a real mutt of a bike, with parts from all over the place.

Norco Sight A1 29 review

Mar 2019 · Tom Marvin

The Norco Sight A1 29er is a relatively hard-hitting trail bike that manages to merge a decent downhill confidence inspiring ride with capable pedalling characteristics.. .

Highs
  • Good value, all-round performance with a slight descending bias

Lows
  • Geometry won’t appeal to all, brakes could do with more power

Review: Norco Sight C 9.2 is a 29" All Mountain confidence machine

Jun 2017 · Michael Gushulak

Over the years I’ve taken to the trails with a range of bikes. At 12 years old my first “real” bike was a hardtail cross-country bike I purchased from a friend for $20. Having been such a young buck full of energy it wasn’t uncommon to find me headfirst in a batch of thorns. Simply put, …

Norco Sight 9.2 // Bike Review

May 2017 · Will Hilbert

In today’s world of mid-travel trail bikes, it seems they become more and more capable every year. Norco’s all new carbon Sight is no exception. Throw a leg over this fully redesigned steed and its purpose is clear: To shred whatever you decided to throw at it. This is one PNW inspired all-mountain bike that has expanded the limits of what I thought 130mm of travel could handle. This year’s carbon Sight has been updated to fit in with the modern era of all-mountain bike geometry. The reach is longer, the bottom bracket is lower and the headtube is slacker. This combination greatly improves the confidence one feels when pointing this trail killer downhill. The redesigned carbon front triangle and seat stay, combined with the new Boost 148 rear end, give the bike a stiff and wallow-free feel when riding aggressively. The cable routing is also extremely clean, utilizing Norco’s latest iteration of the Gizmo internal routing system. Though these changes may seem small on paper, on the trail the Sight feels like a whole new animal.

Video: 2017 Norco Sight 29er

Apr 2017 · Francis Cebedo

We've been riding the Norco Sight 29er for a while and the bike just works without calling attention to its wheel size or its travel. It excels quietly on climbs, singletrack and descents, the type of riding that the majority of folks do on their regular fun rides. - Mtbr.com
