The Norco Sight illustrated just how wrong I was about 29" wheels as it offered an incredible amount of confidence which allowed me to push myself as a rider.

Norco Sight A2 29 review

Apr 2018 · Tom Marvin

Confidence inspiring trail bike best on steep, technical trails. Buy if you spend most of your rides spinning up then shredding down the steep stuff

Highs
  • Smooth, controlled suspension, decent kit

Lows
  • Weighty, not the best climber

Review: Norco Sight C 9.2 is a 29" All Mountain confidence machine

Jun 2017 · Michael Gushulak

Over the years I’ve taken to the trails with a range of bikes. At 12 years old my first “real” bike was a hardtail cross-country bike I purchased from a friend for $20. Having been such a young buck full of energy it wasn’t uncommon to find me headfirst in a batch of thorns. Simply put, …

Norco Sight 9.2 // Bike Review

May 2017 · Will Hilbert

In today’s world of mid-travel trail bikes, it seems they become more and more capable every year. Norco’s all new carbon Sight is no exception. Throw a leg over this fully redesigned steed and its purpose is clear: To shred whatever you decided to throw at it. This is one PNW inspired all-mountain bike that has expanded the limits of what I thought 130mm of travel could handle. This year’s carbon Sight has been updated to fit in with the modern era of all-mountain bike geometry. The reach is longer, the bottom bracket is lower and the headtube is slacker. This combination greatly improves the confidence one feels when pointing this trail killer downhill. The redesigned carbon front triangle and seat stay, combined with the new Boost 148 rear end, give the bike a stiff and wallow-free feel when riding aggressively. The cable routing is also extremely clean, utilizing Norco’s latest iteration of the Gizmo internal routing system. Though these changes may seem small on paper, on the trail the Sight feels like a whole new animal.

Apr 2017 · Francis Cebedo

We've been riding the Norco Sight 29er for a while and the bike just works without calling attention to its wheel size or its travel. It excels quietly on climbs, singletrack and descents, the type of riding that the majority of folks do on their regular fun rides. - Mtbr.com

Tested: Norco Sight C 9.2

Apr 2017

What is it? The Sight sits in between the Range and Optic in Norco’s catalogue, a mid-travel trail bike available in both wheel size options. The Sight could be dubbed the middle child of the Norcos, with parts, and a shape that strikes a sweet spot between the lean cross country scene and the burly …

Highs
  • Nails the sweet-spot of agility and confidence.

  • Just the right amount of travel for just about anything.

  • Brings fun to big wheels.

Lows
  • Noisy grinding drivetrain.

  • Chainguide adjustment bolt thread damages easily.

  • Too tight water bottle space.
