This well-equipped 120mm-travel trail bike is capable and playful.

It was only last year that Norco's Fluid 7.2 HT+ blew the competition away with lavish spec and unbeatable ride. This year, we welcome the Norco Fluid 2 HT.
Great spec covers all bases, excellent sizing.
Lacking power in brakes, a little high in the bottom bracket, rounded tyre profile.

At face value, it’s easy enough to scoff the need for a $1,700 24-inch kid’s full-suspension mountain bike. And that’s likely why there are not many serious options available. But from what I’ve witnessed with my 10-year-old that, along with her involvement in our local junior development program, the only thing holding kids back from excelling at the sport is having opportunity and the right equipment.

Outstanding-value spec on a decent chassis makes the Fluid an enjoyable all-rounder. Buy if you're looking for a great value all-rounder for the trails
Excellent-value suspension units, 1x11 drivetrain and dropper post
Efficient pedalling and fast-rolling tyres make gaining speed easy
External dropper post routing, limited tyre clearance and QR rear axle betray the frame’s age
Steep head angle and frame flex limit confidence in the rough
