Summary
The Norco Sight is a versatile and well-rounded trail bike, praised for its climbing efficiency and descending capabilities. Its ART suspension platform offers a plush ride with good traction, though some reviews note a lack of suppleness in small bump compliance. The bike's geometry and handling are frequently highlighted as strengths, making it a confident choice for technical terrain.
Versatile and well-rounded
Excellent climbing efficiency
Confident and smooth on descents
Plush suspension with good traction
Agile handling
Lack of small bump compliance
Some models have flexy forks
Pedal bob noticeable during climbs
Component choices can dampen ride experience
I was really impressed with this bike. It was flat out one of the better climbing bikes of the lot and it felt crazy capable on descents.
The ART suspension performed perfectly; it’s lively under pedaling load but bottomless for the bigger hits.
Norco was one of the first brands to recognise the potential of 650b wheels.

Norco is another bike brand that has embraced 27.5" wheels wholeheartedly. The Canadian company offers mid-size wheel bikes for virtually every discipline, with the majority of them finding a home in the Sight line of 140-mm-travel all-mountain bikes.

The Norco Sight is a well balanced bike with supple suspension and 140mm of travel front and rear — but is it solid enough to cut it as a modern trail bike?
Supple suspension on the rear
Balanced handling, even as you go up in sizing
The fork is too spindly
Only medium sizes left now in the UK

In the back corner of my local bike shop sits a 2007 Norco A-Line, a colossal black beast of a bike with 9 inches of travel, a massive dual crown Marzocchi fork, and enough metal framework to support the space shuttle—a bike built for kids who grew up watching low res video of Bender, Schley and Simmons flinging themselves off any cliff they could find between the North Shore and Moab.

A predictable, dependable trail bike that handles more than you might expect. A stiffer fork would open up its potential

The Norco Sight Carbon LE FS is a versatile, well-rounded all-mountain trail bike that is perfectly suited for technical terrain with plenty of vertical.

Norco’s bikes haven’t just come on a little bit in the past four or five years. No, they’ve improved astronomically and the Sight range is really indicative of all that progress. A couple of years ago, Norco launched the Sight in a 26” wheeled variant, but for 2014 it undergoes the shift to 27.5” wheels whilst …
