Summary
The Norco Sight is a versatile and highly capable trail bike that excels in both climbing and descending, offering a balanced and playful ride. It features a stiff and lightweight frame with well-designed suspension that performs efficiently across various conditions. While generally praised, some components like the fork and tires may have limitations in certain scenarios.
Stiff and lightweight frame
Balanced and efficient suspension performance
Playful and agile handling
Excellent climbing capabilities
Versatile for various riding conditions
Fork performance issues including creaks and stiffness
Tire limitations in mud and wear
Some hardware loosening or failures
Wide handlebar not suitable for all riders
Brake power and comfort concerns in specific builds
It is a phenomenal trail bike that does well, if not excels, in all areas.
An absolute blast to ride, it flattered fitness and skills while regularly saving our arses wherever we rode.
More playful than a puppy on Red Bull
It actively encourages playful, aggressive riding, which directly equates to fun times.
If one had to be limited to having one bike to rule them all, this would be a definite contender.

More playful than a puppy on Red Bull. Clean finish with nice touches everywhere you look. Pretty decent value with no obvious spec upgrades needed.
The rear suspension linkage bolts loosened off during first few rides, keep an eye on them. Not the stiffest frame we've ridden in comparison to the overall bike weight. Resin brake pads and rotors limit pad choice options.

The Norco Sight is a 140mm trail bike introduced at Sea Otter last year and made official at Norco’s 2012 launch in Whistler last fall. We’ve been ripping one around our local trails in NC and VA for about nine months under a few different riders. We’ve played with 650B wheels on the bike, too, …
