Review: One Year on the Liv Intrigue LT Advanced Pro 1

May 2024 · Sarah Moore

The Intrique LT is billed as an enduro race bike, but it's more versatile than that designation suggests.

Highs
  • Finds traction easily on the climbs and the descents

  • Composed on rough terrain

  • Lightweight build

Lows
  • Not the most supportive suspension platform

  • You'll need to make a couple spec changes to make it an enduro race rig

  • XS/S doesn't fit a normal waterbottle

  • Frame storage door rattles when loaded with cage and bottle

Liv Intrigue Advanced Pro 1 2021 in review – a well-known bike thoroughly revised

Apr 2021 · Antonia Buckenlei

The Liv Intrigue is an evergreen in Liv’s portfolio. For the coming season, Giant's women-specific sister-brand have thoroughly revised the bike, which now has less travel but bigger 29" wheels. Does the concept also work for petite riders?

Highs
  • Good-natured, easy handling

  • Efficient chassis

  • Good value for money

Lows
  • Twitchy at high speeds

  • Unnecessarily long seat tube limits freedom of movement downhill

The Beta Tests: Liv Intrigue Advanced Pro 29 2

Mar 2021 · Lydia Tanner

One of the only truly women's-specific frames out there, the Liv Intrigue combines big wheels and moderate travel into a compelling package.

Highs
  • Reasonably priced

  • Carbon Rims

  • Equally at home climbing or descending

Lows
  • Highest available build is GX

  • No XS frame

  • Short reach isn't for everyone
