Summary
The Giant Propel is an aero road bike praised for its excellent balance of aerodynamics and lightweight, offering a fast and efficient ride with confident handling. It provides good value with high-end components and smooth ride quality, though it has some limitations in tyre clearance and comfort on rough surfaces. Overall, it's a competitive option in the aero bike category, suitable for various riding conditions.
Excellent balance of aero and lightweight
Great value build
Confident handling and stable descents
Smooth ride quality with good vibration damping
Integrated features like power meter and aero cockpit
Limited tyre clearance (up to 30mm)
Narrow tyres as stock, affecting comfort and rolling resistance
Integrated seatpost reduces adjustability and can be inconvenient
Lacks some snappiness in sprint performance compared to rivals
Aesthetics and cockpit design may not appeal to all
The Giant Propel Advanced Pro 0 AXS delivers brilliant performance and value.
It’s an excellent bike, and worthy of being in the conversation when discussing the best on the market.
GIANT have managed to conjure up a carefully considered and contemporary aero bike with the Propel Advanced SL.

Launched in 2022, the Giant Propel is an aero bike with softer edges that makes it an excellent all-rounder
Genuine all-round capability
Comfortable enough for all-day riding
Separate bars mean easier and cheaper fit adjustment
Stable on high-speed descents
Narrow tyres as stock
Better with deeper wheels
Not as aero or as cheap as the Factor Ostro VAM
Integrated seatpost is annoying to live with

Are aero bikes as good as they will get? Not according to GIANT who promise to step it up a notch with the new Propel Advanced SL. But how?
Aerodynamically integrated bottle cage
Harmonious and organic design language
Components, finish, and performance match the overall concept
No flops
