Summary
The Cotic RocketMAX is a standout enduro bike, praised for its durable steel frame, capable handling, and unique geometry that inspires confidence on steep and technical trails. Its DropLink suspension system is noted for being well-sorted and adjustable, offering a supportive and firm ride. While it excels in stability and descending prowess, some reviews mention its weight and the complexity of shock setup as drawbacks.
Durable steel frame
Capable handling
Confidence-inspiring geometry
Well-sorted DropLink suspension
Unique feel and build quality
Weight
Complex shock setup
Not the lightest in its category
Some components may not suit all riders
The result is an enduro tank that stays utterly calm and confident well beyond our test team's normal panic points
The RocketMAX instantly feels more agile and lively than the stretched-out wheelbase and weighty tyres might suggest.
Delicate, hesitant and relaxed – three words that aren’t in the Cotic RocketMAX’s vocabulary.

Delicate, hesitant and relaxed – all words that aren’t in the Cotic RocketMAX’s vocabulary. You only have to look at its low-slung silhouette and slammed angles to know the RocketMAX is a hard-charging beast, but does it have a refined side?
Super stable and composed droplink suspension
Easy to ride fast on flat-out trails
Solid on the climbs
Complex shock makes setup tricky
SRAM G2 brakes underpowered
Demanding on tighter terrain

The RocketMAX offers a lively, engaging ride thanks to the frame feel and confident geometry, but it’s not the comfiest bike when the going gets rough
Long and low-slung geometry gives masses of confidence on steep sections
More agile than the numbers might suggest
Solid, dependable build that’ll handle a hammering
Helm fork can feel harsh on repeated hits at speed
Back end not the plushest through really rough sections
