Summary
The Canyon Grail is a highly regarded gravel bike, praised for its lightweight, efficient power transfer, and innovative design. It excels in speed and handling, making it a favorite for racing and fast gravel rides. However, some reviews note limitations in comfort over rough terrain and proprietary parts that may restrict customization.
Lightweight and efficient power transfer
Innovative and functional frame storage
Great spec and sleek design
Stable and quick to respond on the open road
Excellent value for money
Limited comfort over rough terrain
Proprietary parts limit adjustability and compatibility
Front end slightly twitchy at higher speeds
Limited tire clearance
Consumer-direct sales model has downsides
The Grail is light in the hand and rewards your input.
The new Grail has featured on the pro-level gravel race podiums so many times.
Canyon has done a really impressive job of updating its Grail platform, and the new bike is well equipped to meet its aims as a flat out, racy gravel bike while offering features that increase its usability outside of competitive events.

Lightweight build
Integrated bar limits fit adjustment and accessory integration
Doesn't include an internal frame storage pouch or the proprietary GPS mount
Canyon-specific accessories add additional costs
