Summary
The Canyon Endurace is celebrated for its exceptional blend of speed and comfort, making it a standout in the endurance category. Its relaxed geometry, vibration dampening seatpost, and high-volume tires contribute to a smooth ride, while the aero-tweaked frame and stiff drivetrain ensure efficiency and speed. Despite some critiques about its integrated cockpit and storage solutions, the Endurace offers great value and performance, appealing to riders seeking a fast yet forgiving bike.
Relaxed geometry and vibration dampening seatpost for comfort
High performance for the price with aero-tweaked frame
Adjustable bar width and cockpit for customization
Excellent blend of speed and comfort
Top-end components and premium spec
Integrated cockpit makes changing stem length difficult
In-frame storage is too small to be useful
No mudguard fender eyelets
Some light internal brake hose rattle
Canyon’s updated Endurace has a brilliantly-smooth ride and is very well equipped for its price.Bicycling
Canyon has tweaked the speed-comfort equation to near-perfection.
The Endurace CFR is still a quick bike, it's stiff and fast, and the handling is excellent.

The Canyon Endurace CF SLX 8 combines race bike performance, endurance bike comfort, and a pretty remarkable price given the spec. The only thing holding this bike back is one or two proprietary features that may end up being more of a nuisance than a help.
Relaxed geometry and vibration dampening seatpost make for an extremely comfortable ride
Claimed clearance of up to 35mm tires, but may fit even wider
Inexpensive given the spec (SRAM Force AXS, Quarq power meter, carbon wheels)
In-frame storage is too small to be useful
Not compatible with a traditional stem

The former endurance bike now leans heavily into aero and the 'race' in its name.

Canyon Endurace CFR 2026 on Review: aero DNA meets cobbles – faster in Flanders and Roubaix?
High comfort thanks to tires and seatpost
Generous tire clearance
Adjustable cockpit options
High entry price (CFR model only)
No more frame storage compartment in favour of race performance

Dec 2025
With an aluminum frame, carbon fork and full Shimano Cues group, the $1,499 Endurace Allroad delivers a smooth, snappy ride and 40mm tire clearance for road and light gravel.
Exceptional value for performance
Smooth, well-damped, supple ride
Snappy and efficient under power
Excellent handling with planted, predictable feel
Shimano Cues front shifting on par with mechanical Dura-Ace
Smooth and consistent rear shifting
Great brake lever feel and modulation
Generous 40mm tire clearance
Standard handlebar and fork steerer for easy adjustments
Full Shimano spec, including hubs
Fender and rack mounts, top-tube bosses
Attractive frame and clean paintwork
Comfortable saddle (except slipperiness) and bar tape
Stock wire-bead tires and tubes feel slow
Saddle cover too slippery, requiring constant repositioning
Rear downshift throw from drops is long; small fingers may miss detent
Brakes' initial bite and overall power slightly mediocre
Direct-to-consumer: cannot test size before purchase
Price advantage smaller at this price point vs. competitors
Jun 2025 · Alvin Holbrook
The pricing isn't quite as aggressive in the US, but the new Canyon Endurace AllRoad checks all the boxes at an impressive price point.

Nov 2023 · Tom Wieckowski
The Endurace CFR lives up to its billing with comfortable geometry and comfort-adding features in a racy overall package
The 'sport' geometry still feels performance orientated
The CFR frame is stiff and fast when sprinting or riding hard
Light, nimble handling is a pleasure
Some light internal brake hose rattle in the handlebars
Some rattling over rough ground from the top tube tool roll

Oct 2023 · Sam Challis
The Canyon Endurace platform is closing in on ten years old and has always been the most comfort-oriented bike in
Superb rear end comfort
Adjustable cockpit
High build quality
Near flawless spec
Stiffness
Significant weight gain
Flawed integrated storage
Outmoded saddle

Sep 2023 · Stu Kerton
Impressive comfort, weight and performance to a degree, but a clinical feel to the ride reduces the fun factor
Comfortable riding position
High-end spec
New cockpit brings extra adjustability
Not the most ‘involving’ ride in terms of feedback
