The Canyon Endurace CF SLX 8 combines race bike performance, endurance bike comfort, and a pretty remarkable price given the spec. The only thing holding this bike back is one or two proprietary features that may end up being more of a nuisance than a help.
Relaxed geometry and vibration dampening seatpost make for an extremely comfortable ride
Claimed clearance of up to 35mm tires, but may fit even wider
Inexpensive given the spec (SRAM Force AXS, Quarq power meter, carbon wheels)
In-frame storage is too small to be useful
Not compatible with a traditional stem

A new top tube frame storage box, boosted tyre clearance and revised geometry sound like classic endurance bike features, but is the Endurace capable of far more?
The 'sport' geometry still feels performance orientated
The CFR frame is stiff and fast when sprinting or riding hard
Light, nimble handling is a pleasure
Some light internal brake hose rattle in the handlebars

Far, further, long distance! The new Canyon Endurace CFR Di2 2023 is billed as an authentic mile muncher. But is it a brand new bike, or merely a facelift of its long-running predecessor?
Outstanding compliance on bumpy terrain
Sleek, cohesive design
Balanced pedalling position meets composed handling
Practical storage compartment for tools in the top tube is easily accessible through the service flap
Tools in the neoprene pouch have to be ordered separately
No spec variants (or compatibility) with cable-operated drivetrains
