Launched in 2018, the Canyon Neuron is no stranger to ENDURO. Over the past three years, we've tested Canyon's bestseller in all possible versions and specs. But where does it sit compared to the latest and greatest mountain bikes of 2021? Can the Canyon Neuron CF SLX 9 still deliver on the trail?

The Canyon Neuron isn’t radical but it’s very rideable if you’re into making big days on the bike as easy as possible.

A fantastic bit of kit for XC riders with a penchant to get a little rad and rowdy some of the time. Its geometry is fairly conservative though, but the bike is comfortable and composed in most situations on both the descents and ascents.
Value for money, great suspension and should appeal to a fairly broad range of people
Conservative geometry and its intentions can sometimes outgun its ability
