Canyon Endurace CF SLX 8 Review

Oct 2023

The Canyon Endurace CF SLX 8 combines race bike performance, endurance bike comfort, and a pretty remarkable price given the spec. The only thing holding this bike back is one or two proprietary features that may end up being more of a nuisance than a help.

Highs
  • Relaxed geometry and vibration dampening seatpost make for an extremely comfortable ride

  • Claimed clearance of up to 35mm tires, but may fit even wider

  • Inexpensive given the spec (SRAM Force AXS, Quarq power meter, carbon wheels)

Lows
  • In-frame storage is too small to be useful

  • Not compatible with a traditional stem

Canyon Endurace CFR Di2: First ride review

Aug 2023 · Tom Wieckowski

A new top tube frame storage box, boosted tyre clearance and revised geometry sound like classic endurance bike features, but is the Endurace capable of far more?

Highs
  • The 'sport' geometry still feels performance orientated

  • The CFR frame is stiff and fast when sprinting or riding hard

  • Light, nimble handling is a pleasure

Lows
  • Some light internal brake hose rattle in the handlebars

2022 Canyon Endurace CF SLX 9 Disc eTap review: Smooth and sleek value - CyclingTips

Oct 2021 · Dan Cavallari

Sleek lines, a smooth ride, great handling, low weight, and lots of tire clearance in a value-oriented package.

Highs
  • Stable, but not sluggish, steering

  • Comfortable without sacrificing stiffness

  • Sleek appearance

  • Outstanding value

  • Lots of sizes.

Lows
  • Cockpit lacks much adjustability, front end isn’t as comfortable as the rear, paint job is a bit boring.
