Summary
The Canyon Speedmax is a high-performance triathlon bike praised for its aerodynamics, comfort, and efficiency. However, it comes with a higher price range for premium builds and lacks UCI approval for some models.
Improved aerodynamics
Total integration & fit adjustability
Disc brakes for improved brake performance
Lighter and stiffer than before
Optimized hydration & storage systems
None of the new Speedmax Disc framesets have received UCI approval
Higher price range for premium builds
The new Canyon Speedmax CF Disc hones the lessons learned on, while the new Canyon Speedmax CF SLX Disc & Speedmax CFR Disc take even bigger steps towards reducing system drag, and making you go faster!
This bike is a great mid-range TT bike with some really glowing highlights, let down slightly by its triathlon pedigree and clunky shifting - but hugely bolstered by the provision of ready to race wheels.
The Canyon Speedmax CF 8 Disc is fast, no question and it's easy to see why it's rated by so many as one of the in the segment.
