Summary
The Canyon Sender is a high-performance downhill bike praised for its updated shock mount, lighter frame, and exceptional adjustability, making it a favorite among racers. It offers a balanced ride, excellent suspension performance, and great value, though it has some limitations in rear wheel adjustability and handlebar design.
Updated shock mount for more progressive performance
Lighter frame by 600 grams compared to previous generation
Great adjustability for tailored fit
Excellent geometry and balance
High-quality components and great value
Limited adjustability for rear wheel size outside of offered options
Handlebar is an odd shape
Rear tire may contact stays during hard cornering
Downhill racing is a game of seconds. It’s that simple.
The Canyon Sender CF 7.0 is a very balanced bike and was easy to ride confidently and quickly from the get-go.
The Sender CFR is a very centered package that wasn't master of any one characteristic, but felt adept everywhere.
IT'S PRETTY RAD TO SEE THE CULMINATION OF INPUT FROM PROFESSIONAL RACERS AND MECHANICS AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME.

The iconic Canyon Sender downhill bike makes the jump to 29-inch wheels, but opts for a mullet build on smalls and mediums. Oh, and its lighter, longer and more adjustable.
