Canyon Neuron CF 8.0 in review

Oct 2019 · Trev Worsey

At first glance, the Canyon Neuron CF 8.0 may look like the odd one out in this group test, undercutting the competition considerably on price.

Highs
  • Easily accessible performance

  • Outstanding value

Lows
  • Guide T brakes are underpowered

  • Linear suspension lacks support

Canyon Neuron CF 9.0 SL review

Sep 2019 · Alex Evans

A fantastic bit of kit for XC riders with a penchant to get a little rad and rowdy some of the time. Its geometry is fairly conservative though, but the bike is comfortable and composed in most situations on both the descents and ascents.

Highs
  • Value for money, great suspension and should appeal to a fairly broad range of people

Lows
  • Conservative geometry and its intentions can sometimes outgun its ability

Review: The 2019 Canyon Neuron CF 9.0 is Conservative Yet Quick

Jul 2019 · Daniel Sapp

The Canyon Neuron is a value-packed trail bike that falls more on the cross-country side of the spectrum.

Highs
  • A very much all-around XC/Trail bike

  • Excellent spec for the price

Lows
  • No S or XS in 29" versions and the tall seat mast height limits the size medium

  • Geometry isn't all that modern

  • Impact Protection Unit (IPU) could be annoying for some riders
