For 2021, Canyon will offer alloy models of its popular downhill gravity machines; the Torque and Sender. The Torque, built to the same “Category 5” standards as all Canyon DH bikes, and taking suspension cues from the Sender, the Torque is a gravity machine with a playful side. Built around a 27.5″ wheels, and spec’d […]

The new 175mm travel Canyon Torque CF 8.0 shares a lot of the same design cues as the Trail Bike of the Year winning Canyon Spectral.

The Torque oozes control and carries out its duties with stealth-like precision. It’s no wonder I just want to ride it over and over and over again. Buy if you want a well-balanced, surefooted, big hitting trail bike that's a total monster when pointed downhill
Composed suspension that balances traction with big hitting capabilities
Easy to adapt to geometry that feels confident at speed and through the turns
Great components package with some seriously well-considered, choice parts bolted on where it matters most
Keep an eye on the shock bolts
Climbs well enough but you need to be patient
