Speed or Style? Canyon Strive CF 5.0 vs. Canyon Torque AL 6.0

Aug 2019 · Finlay Anderson

The Canyon Strive CF 5.0 and the Canyon Torque AL 6.0 are both designed to be ridden downhill hard and then pedalled back to the top of the hill. Both bikes are listed in the “enduro” category on Canyon’s website and both should be great fun to ride in their own right. However, the similarities […]

Tested: Canyon Torque CF 9.0 | $5,000

Jul 2018

The Torque is surprisingly approachable. Riders not accustomed to its ample travel still won’t get lost in it. It supports, flows and even pops, though it definitely needs to be in firm mode for the climbs. It’s a great package for a great price.

Canyon Torque - We Review the 175mm Travel Monster Bike

Mar 2018

More significant than how this bike performs is the simple fact that it actually exists! The Torque beckons a return of the mini-DH or bike park rig, it's been a while since this niche segment received any fresh blood and we're pumped about it.

Highs
  • Rides like a mini DH bike.

  • Can actually climb a hill, too.

Lows
  • Narrow scope of use.
