Custom paint shows off the world champ stripes and some nice Canadian touches
Custom paint job with world champion stripes and maple leaf
SRAM Red groupset
Aero Vision Metron 45 RS wheels with 23mm internal width
Oilslick rainbow cassette adds unique touch

14 miles into the first ride, a patch of gravel in Girona sent me sliding. After climbs, corners, and rough roads, the Gen-5 Evo still felt fast and confidence-inspiring.
UDH-compatible rear dropout
Feels fast, smooth, and predictable
Climbing comfortable, poised when descending
Carries speed well on rolling roads and through corners
Lighter weight options (Lab71 SL and Evo 1 SL)
48/35T chainrings with 10-33T cassette not ideal for some
29mm tires feel skinny, can accommodate 32mm
No mechanical drivetrain compatibility

Feels aero.

Mismatched thru-axles
25 mm tube type only tyres on these rims
Vision bars
Not the stiffest nor snappiest.

Nov 2023 · Charlotte Head
Hill climb events are notorious for their weight-weenie builds and none took that further than Paul Roby with his Cannondale

Mar 2023 · Will Jones
It can still climb, but it's definitely an all-rounder rather than a pure climber's bike
Genuinely lovely paint
Excellent, balanced handling characteristics
Very good tyres as standard
SRAM Red beginning to feel dated
Wheels great on the flat, but take a bit to spin up
