The new Kaius 01 is more aero, stiffer, lighter, and adds more tire clearance. Impressive.
Revised frameset weighs 1,469g total (998g frame, 400g fork, 134g seatpost), a 63g reduction.
3% greater stiffness and 4% weight savings over previous version.
12% improvement in bike-only aerodynamics and 1.05% system-wide speed gains with 45mm tires.
Tire clearance up to 52mm with ISO 6mm clearance, down to 32mm without pedal/ground clearance issues.
T47 x 85.5 threaded bottom bracket (not pressfit).
External cargo system with top tube bag mounts, Cargo Plate, AeroCore bottle cages, lower downtube mount.
1x specific drivetrain with chainrings from 32t to 50t, integrated chain guide.
Full Mount compatible UDH dropout for latest SRAM drivetrains.
Geometry: 5mm reduction in reach, 11mm increase in stack, 10mm additional ground clearance, 4mm additional trail, 5mm longer chainstays.
Available in six sizes (47-61cm) with ICS carbon aero cockpits.
