2025 Ari Timp Peak Review

Apr 2026

The Ari Timp Peak Pro carves turns well, blasts through chunder and even has a bit of pop - for an eMTB that is

Highs
  • Stable on descents and chunder, providing confidence.

  • Smooth and supple suspension feel (RockShox Vivid/ZEB).

  • Customizable geometry via GA Link flip chips (4 settings).

  • Excellent traction and control on steep/rooty terrain.

  • Good pop and play ability for an eMTB.

  • Powerful Bosch Gen 5 motor with consistent support modes (eMTB, Turbo).

  • Lighter 600Wh battery reduces weight; extender works well.

  • Great component spec (Maven brakes, DT Swiss wheels, AXS derailleur).

Lows
  • Eco+ mode was unreliable (laggy, inconsistent).

  • Auto mode lags when trail conditions change.

  • Battery reinstallation is very difficult.

  • Potential tariff and shipping costs for non-US customers.

  • Direct-to-consumer model may lack local dealer support.

  • Small amount of grease on Vivid shock stanchion.

  • OneUp dropper got sticky in winter (minor).
