The State 4130 Trail delivers the sublime ride feel of a steel framed hardtail at a price point that’s pretty much unheard of these days. That said, they did have to cut some corners to get there, and the poor seat post insertion, underpowered brakes, and absence of a dropper post do take away from the bikes potential on the trail.
