Highs Very light given its 430 Wh battery; Best in class for technical climbs; Agile and responsive geometry makes bike feel even lighter than it is

Lows Unique motor tune (which can be changed) decreases battery range in most settings; Quickly reaches its intended limits on high speed, technical descents

The Pivot Shuttle SL is a climbers E-MTB, with agile and responsive geometry and massive amounts of torque, even in the motor’s lower output modes. This makes it great for powering over technical climbs or around steep, tight, singletrack switchbacks. The tradeoff, however, is that the bike feels a bit less composed than many enduro-focused pedal assist bikes on the way back down and with the stock motor configuration. The drive unit’s tuning also trades increased assistance in the lower power modes for overall battery range, but this can be adjusted to suit your needs.
