One of the key aspects for Focus was that the Paralane² had to be light, so it worked with German start-up Fazua (named after Bavarian slang for ‘go-on’), which was born out of a university project and is now an independent e-bike system maker.. .
Rides like a bike, motor is there to assist not take over, is a decent bike without the motor too
E-switch is a little bulky, I’d have preferred a more all-rounder tyre

Not the lightest, but an excellent all-rounder that delivers a smooth and comfortable ride
Neutral but sharp and rewarding handling
Sleek mudguard fitting
Quick and simple thru-axle design
Heavy wheels
Lack of tyre feedback
Bulky levers
