With the Carrera impel im-1, you can take the strain out of your regular commute or weekend outing. On a single charge, the 367Wh battery provides up to 50 miles of assisted riding and the Hyena rear hub motor can assist you up to speeds of 15.5mph.
The motor also features a built-in torque sensor that ensures the motor turns on automatically as soon as you start pedalling – so you’ll get dependable assistance from your first pedal stroke.
From smooth city tarmac to leisurely rides along scenic canal paths, if you’re looking for a solid bike that can handle roads and off-road paths alike, the Carrera impel im-1 is the perfect option!
This versatility is achieved through a robust aluminium frame, Tektro V brakes, and wide tyres with safety reflective sidewalls and double-walled rims for added puncture protection.
The impel im-1 is the complete package, providing comfort, versatility and, just as importantly, performance!
This performance is delivered by a high capacity 367Wh battery and a powerful rear hub Hyena motor. The battery is fully integrated into the frame for a sleek look and improved weight distribution, and can power you for up to 50 miles on a single charge.* Then, at the simple turn of a key, you can remove the battery and charge it away from the bike between rides.
Providing the assistance is the Hyena 250W motor which is seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel for improved traction and controlled handling. This performance motor also boasts an impressive 45NM of torque.
And just as impressively, the motor’s torque sensor will seamlessly adjust the power output in response to your input, providing a natural ride feel.
*The maximum range will depend on the capacity of the battery, rider and luggage weight, power mode setting and riding style.
With three different speed modes and a walking assist mode, you’ll always receive the level of assistance you need.
The assistance level can be easily controlled via an LED display on the handlebars, and the screen also displays key information including speed and battery level. With the addition of Bluetooth connectivity, you can also unlock additional features on the smartphone app, such as ride metrics, battery charge and health status and details for any error codes.
Want to track your ride statistics? Now you can through the Hyena Rider Assistant app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
Connecting to the bike via Bluetooth, the app allows you to see your ride’s statistics including average speed, maximum speed, distance, trip time plus much more.
Multi-functional, the app also displays the battery’s charge and health status, and even allows you to turn the bike’s integrated lights on and off.
