Summary
The YT Industries Capra is a highly capable enduro bike that excels in rough terrain, offering a blend of comfort, efficiency, and descending prowess. Its suspension performance is frequently praised, with models featuring Fox Factory components standing out. The bike's geometry and handling inspire confidence, making it a favorite for aggressive riding. However, some reviews note limitations in climbing efficiency and dropper post performance.
Excels in rough terrain with confident descending
Comfortable and efficient suspension setup
Inspires confidence with intuitive handling
Good value for high-performance components
Versatile for both climbing and descending
Climbing efficiency relies heavily on lockout
Dropper post performance can be frustrating
Some models lack robustness in tire casings
Geometry could be slacker for enduro use
The new Capra 29 is like the old Capra 29, but better.
It strikes an almost perfect price-to-performance ratio for the cash-conscious enduro rider.
RockShox’s new electronic and fully-automated Flight Attendant suspension system does the thinking for you and dramatically increases the climbing performance of your bike.

The distinguished YT CAPRA Core 4 tops the Core range. As such, it’s dripping with top-end kit to deliver an exciting and capable ride that’ll have bikes twice its price quaking in their boots. However, it doesn’t quite have the lengthy geo expected of an enduro bike. See what it can do. We dare you.
The rougher the trail, the faster it goes -Allows for precise, creative riding in the rowdy sections -Understated looks -Respectable value
Relies on the lockout for sustained climbing -A little boring until things get real
