The SB160 is a worthy successor to the proven SB150 enduro race bike.Bicycling
It’s the most evolved bike Yeti has ever made, and a bike that will pleasantly shock you with its intuitive handling.
The suspension of the Yeti SB160 is some of the best performing in the entire test field.
The SB160 is more scalpel than mallet.
Confidence begets confidence, but the initial frustrations in getting the Yeti to feel right got under my skin and into my head, so it had ground to recover.

The SB160 really comes alive when thrown into the gnarly stuff and holds lines with the best of them.

Call it long term if you must because this Yeti and I have been hanging out for a good while...

I don’t think most people that buy the Yeti SB160 are buying it because it represents a great value package and premium performance.

For years, I’ve been intrigued by Yeti’s Switch Infinity translational pivot bikes. There’s something inviting about the Golden, Colorado-based company’s signature teal paint job that has always left me wondering how they ride. Thankfully, I finally got the chance to give one a try. The new Yeti SB160 is purposefully built for the most demanding enduro race stages. And with its supplied 170-millimeter Fox Factory 38 fork up front, and 160 millimeters of impossibly soft rear travel out back—it’s spec’d to handle harsh, techy terrain anywhere in the world.
