It's new, it's purple, and it's pricey. Find out how the SB140 performed on Whistler's technical climbs and descents.

Yeti SB140 first ride review

Jul 2019 · Seb Stott

At 190cm tall, I like a high front-end, and a longer reach requires a higher bar height to feel comfortable on the bike.

Highs
  • Steep seat angle, efficient suspension and fast rolling tyres make climbing both comfortable and fast

  • Burly fork and roomy geometry make it potentially super-capable coming back down too

Lows
  • Rear tyre and 180mm rotors aren't ideal for really steep descents

  • Maximum bar height too low for some tall riders
