Summary
The Wilier Rave is a race-focused gravel bike that excels in speed and efficiency, offering quick acceleration, lightweight construction, and a stiff, reactive frame. It performs admirably on hardpacked gravel and tarmac, though its handling can feel unpredictable on rough terrain. While praised for its racing pedigree and comfort at high speeds, it faces criticism for limited tire clearance, fiddly components, and a higher price point compared to rivals.

The Rave SLR is easily one of the lightest gravel bikes I have ridden
It’s a very reactive bike that feels eager to be ridden hard on fast gravel tracks.
The Rave SLR is the gravel bike equivalent of a lightweight road bike that allows you to corner hard, accelerate fast, climb quickly, and get into an efficient riding position for the flat sections.
