It's easy to quickly glance at the 2019 Whyte T-130 S and assume it’s the same as last year’s bike, albeit with fatter 2.6in tyres and a 140mm travel fork.

Since we reviewed the Whyte T-130 S in Scotland eight months ago, nothing has changed apart from Whyte Bikes’ step to finally open up their distribution in Germany. Reason enough to include the T-130 S in this group test.

Super-responsive but surefooted handling
