Whyte T-130 SR review

Dec 2018 · Guy Kesteven

Heavy, with limp brakes, but brilliant handling and sorted suspension give it the aggro win. Buy if you don't want to go direct but still want a bargain

Highs
  • Outstanding flat-out handling and frame stiffness

  • Excellent ready-to-ride suspension balance

  • Local bike shop sales, set-up and servicing gains

  • Great value compared to other shop-sold bikes

Lows
  • High overall and wheel weight

  • TRP brakes lack power and consistent control
