Summary
The Vitus Venon is praised for its sporty geometry and stiff frame, making it a competent endurance bike with lively yet predictable handling. It offers great value, especially with higher-end builds featuring Shimano Di2, though some reviews note a slightly harsh ride and budget components like tyres and bar tape. The bike excels in power transfer and stability over long distances, but its comfort and acceleration may not match more refined competitors.

Contemporary frame but overweight, under equipped and bruising over rougher roads. Buy if you want a tall, stiff ride
Stiff frame with plenty of tyre clearance
Cable brakes, 10-speed gearing and heavy wheels, thumping rather than forgiving ride, no mudguard mounts

Mar 2018 · Stu Kerton
Well-mannered mile-muncher for those who like a stiff ride

Aug 2017 · Matthew Page
A carbon-framed endurance bike that's built to go the distance
Very stable ride
Especially downhill
Well-balanced comfort front and rear
RS404 disc brakes are great in all conditions
Internal cables are noisy on rough roads
Cockpit and finishing kit are basic
With thin bar tape and handlebars
Disappointing to have toe overlap on a 54cm bike

Not too upright
Quality spec with full 105 groupset
Non-hydraulic disc brakes
Narrow bars
Uninspiring paint job
