Vitus Venon Disc 105 review

Aug 2017 · Matthew Page

A carbon-framed endurance bike that's built to go the distance

Highs
  • Very stable ride

  • Especially downhill

  • Well-balanced comfort front and rear

  • RS404 disc brakes are great in all conditions

Lows
  • Internal cables are noisy on rough roads

  • Cockpit and finishing kit are basic

  • With thin bar tape and handlebars

  • Disappointing to have toe overlap on a 54cm bike

Vitus Venon VR Disc review

Feb 2016 · Warren Rossiter

The lightness of its ride and its smooth-rolling comfort – apart from the bar – make it an extremely capable endurance machine, and one we’d happily employ for day-long events.. .

Highs
  • Buttery smooth ride, well equipped for the cash

Lows
  • Overly stiff bar, maybe not as exciting as some

  • Cable brakes preferable over hydraulic at this price point

  • Very good geometry

  • Fun to ride

  • Excellent value

  • Comfortable

Lows
  • A little heavy
