Summary
The Vitus Zenium is praised for its balanced ride quality, offering a mix of race and endurance characteristics that cater to a wide range of riders. Its Shimano Ultegra groupset is frequently highlighted for smooth and quiet performance, contributing to the bike's efficiency and comfort. However, some reviews note the frame's finish and front-end harshness as areas for improvement.
Balanced ride quality
Shimano Ultegra groupset performance
Good value for money
Comfortable saddle and tyre package
Endurance geometry reduces fatigue
Frame finish marks easily
Front end can feel harsh
Own-brand finishing kit is unexceptional
Stiff ride may become jarring on longer rides
To find an entire Ultegra 6800 groupset on a bike under £1,300 is good news.
Vitus claims the SL Pro’s hydroformed aluminium frame is superlight, and that its endurance geometry offers a balanced ride that reduces fatigue.
I loved it, pure and simple.
