Summary
The Ventum NS1 is a versatile aero road bike that balances speed with comfort, suitable for various road conditions including dirt and gravel. It features a refined frame design for stiffness and aerodynamics, with a compliant ride quality. However, its integrated bar/stem combo may be too flexible for some riders, and the price point is on the higher side.
Versatile design suitable for aero road, all-road, and gravel
Refined frame shaping for stiffness and aerodynamics
Compliant ride quality
Competitive pricing and smart cable routing
Integrated bar/stem combo may be too flexible for aggressive riding
High price point
Middling weight and tyres that deaden ride feel
The updated Ventum NS1 is a multifaceted road design, focused on speed but able to hang on dirt roads and gravel.
The NS1 is a bike that it almost impossible to dislike and will serve plenty of riders well.
The cockpit’s compliance meant outside of high-torque riding situations the front end of the bike was distinctly smooth.
