Summary
The Ventum NS1 is a versatile aero road bike that balances speed with comfort, making it suitable for a variety of road conditions. It features a refined frame design, innovative components like the one-piece bar/stem combo, and a race-ready build. While praised for its stiffness and aerodynamic efficiency, some reviews note the bar/stem's flexibility and the bike's high price point as drawbacks.
Versatile design suitable for various road conditions
Refined frame shaping for added stiffness
Innovative components like the one-piece bar/stem combo
Race-ready build with high-quality groupset and wheels
Bar/stem combo may be too flexible for aggressive sprints
High price point
Some components like tires may detract from ride quality
The updated Ventum NS1 is a multifaceted road design, focused on speed but able to hang on dirt roads and gravel.
The NS1 is a bike that it almost impossible to dislike and will serve plenty of riders well.
The cockpit’s compliance meant outside of high-torque riding situations the front end of the bike was distinctly smooth.
