The bike features a strong Shimano STEPS EP8 electric motor, delivering powerful assistance for various conditions and terrains. The motor has three assistance levels: Boost, Trail, and Eco. The e290 ME comes with a removable Shimano 630 Wh battery, supporting longer bike tours and charging to 80% in just a couple of hours.
The e290 ME’s tires are grippy and stable in challenging conditions. The bike’s handlebar, stem, grips, and seat ensure an ergonomic riding position and comfortable adventures on the e290 ME.
