Versatile and capable trail bike
Efficient and effective suspension system
Confidence-inspiring geometry and handling
Playful yet stable ride quality
Durable and high-quality components
Knock Block steering limiter may not appeal to all
Dropper post travel could be longer for some riders
Some drivetrain preferences may vary
this bike is as close to any I’ve ridden to being ‘the one.’
The Remedy mixes the clout of a thoroughbred all-mountain machine with the dynamism of a trail bike, instilling a curiosity for new trails and bold lines, and for funky ways to ride the old ones.
It’s a cracking, capable and versatile ride.

I must admit I wasn’t super excited to hear there was a Trek Remedy waiting for me to test ride during Crankworx, as the plan was to spend the day in the Whistler Bike Park. If we were hitting the trails I would have been thrilled, but before I actually saw the new bike I …

Geometry tweaks mean the bikes are longer, lower, and slacker for the new year

Mar 2016
The Remedy comes in two wheels sizes, we went for the 27.5 one, it sits in between the 120mm travel Fuel EX and 160mm travel Slash. A real all-rounder with a buttery smooth rear suspension and relaxed geometry, it’s the type of bike that strikes a good balance between long and short travel. Perfect for …

Trek’s Remedy already has a long tradition in the US company’s range and has been overhauled many times. For the coming season the U.S. boys have introduced a new interesting feature: the Fox Float DRCV shock with RE:aktiv technology.
