Summary
The Transition Scout is a versatile and capable trail bike that excels in aggressive riding and steep terrain, offering a playful yet mature ride. It features updated geometry and suspension for better support and tracking, though it requires more effort on mellower trails. The bike is praised for its lively ride feel, effective SBG concept, and supple suspension, making it a favorite among riders seeking fun and performance.
Updated leverage rate provides better support throughout travel
More progressive leverage rate and straighter ramp curve improve mid-stroke and bottoming issues
Steeper seat tube angle and updated leverage rate make it a calmer climber
Versatile and capable aggressive shredder’s bike
Lively, exciting and fun ride feel
Front wheel has a tendency to push through corners if not on top of your game
Requires more manhandling than expected for a small-wheeled bike
Not as good on mellower trails
Scout’s playful innocence is lost. He’s on to bigger things.
The Scout isn’t just very capable, it’s one of the most fun and exciting trail bikes you might ever be lucky enough to ride.
If you’re looking for a playful trail bike that pedals efficiently and inspires confidence and creativity on the descents, the Scout is an amazing rig.

Can the Scout take the honours for outright fun?
Spot-on geometry
Lively, exciting and fun ride feel
Great kit helps to boost already impressive capabilities
It’d be good to see longer chainstays on the larger frame sizes

The company is made up of people who really like to ride, and that’s confidence inspiring when you’re looking for a new bike. We’ve been spending a good amount of trail time on the new Transition Scout, and are here to share some details about the freshly revised bike. Read on for details, and a have a look at the video for an overview of the bike. Specs

Greatly refined but not too grown-up, the new Scout has something for everyone.
