SCOTT Genius 900 Tuned AXS on test – the XC machine among trail bikes

Feb 2020 · Christoph Bayer

The SCOTT Genius 900 Tuned is a perennial contender of our group tests. That’s no wonder given that the bike was considered one of the most progressive models on the market when it was launched in June 2017. Three years have gone by since. Can the bike still convince our test crew? Click here for […]

Scott Genius 940 review

May 2018 · Rob Weaver

The Genius is a good, all-round trail bike that can be pushed pretty hard. Suspension balance takes time to perfect and not everyone will be a fan of the tyres. Buy if you're in the market for a well-mannered, long travel trail bike that's keen to eat up the miles

Highs
  • Decent proportions, smooth, active rear suspension tracks terrain well, TwinLoc suspension system makes shock adjustment easy

Lows
  • Tyres get out of their depth quickly, suspension balance front to rear takes time to dial in

Scott Genius 920 review

Mar 2018

Scott's all-new Genius range packs 150mm of travel into a chassis with progressive geometry and your choice of 650b or 29er wheels, both shod with extra fat rubber. This Genius 920 sits near the top of the range, using a carbon front triangle paired with an alloy rear and 29" wheels. Overall, it's a hugely impressive long travel trail bike but this particular build has a few componentry bugbears.
